Hawker Chan Michelin soya sauce chicken - 8Jan2017

It was a Sunny Sunday. The temperature was 34 degree. It was weeks before Chinese New Year. I happened to go to Chinatown Smith street for the CNY street market when I saw Hawker Chan Michelin soya sauce chicken. They opened a restaurant.

half chicken

The queue was long. We waited almost 30 minutes before we could enter the restaurant. Upon stepping into the restaurant, there was another queue to take order. My ah boy cried he was hungry. The food arrived after a long wait.

we r hungry

The soya sauce chicken was good. It was the same taste as the soya sauce chicken at Jurong point Hong Kong tea-house restaurant. The serving of the rice was not sufficient for big eaters. I was lucky to catch the owner - Mr Chan. He was being interviewed by few Australian tourist media.

I might reconsider to return back to this restaurant. It was not worthwhile for the long wait since I can eat a similar soya sauce chicken elsewhere.
