Legoland Malaysia and Somerset Medini - 5Sep2016

We went to Legoland Malaysia on 5Sep2016. The weather was bright and sunny. The crowd was not a lot. We almost covered all the various lands of adventure. We took photos with Emmet from Lego movie. It was fun day out at the Legoland. Ah boy went to play at the driving school twice.

The food served at the restaurant was reasonably priced. I loved the mini-land and the Star Wars exhibits best. 

Ah boy enjoyed his swim back at the hotel. 

The room we stayed at was spacious. There was a small kitchen and a walk-in closet. Unfortunately, I had migraine and was sick and had to return back to Singapore early next morning. 

How to get there by Car? Legoland Malaysia is about 45 min drive from Jurong West through Tuas Second Link. Remember to exit at 312 - Iskandar Puteri. Somerset Medini hotel is directly across Legoland Malaysia within less than 10 min walk.

Korean snow ice - Jurong point - 24July2016

This bowl of green tea Korean snow ice was very expensive. It cost 14.90SGD. According to the staff, the snow ice beneath the green tea powder was made of milk. The taste was good but I felt it was not worth that amount. 

Anyway, it was a good eating experience on the snow ice. The matcha ice cream was flavorful. Hopefully when more snow ice shops appeared, the price could be pushed down further so I might try the snow ice again. 

Cafe Manuka IMM - 23July2016

Cafe Manuka at IMM was a small cafe with no GST and service charge. We had problem locating the cafe. It was situated near Seasonal restaurant. 

The food menu was different from the one at Orchard Paragon. Dory fish was not available at IMM. We ordered Aglio Aglio instead. The tom yom paste Aglio Aglio didn't taste as good as the Laksa  Aglio Aglio from Dome. 

I found the strawberry shake serving too little and I liked the sausage platter the best. We had fun taking our welfie photos with our food. 

一风堂Westgate - 23July2016

The Ramen was costly. Each bowl was about 19SGD. They only allowed 2SGD of additional noodles once you had finished your existing noodles and had some soup left. They also served sides such as gyoza.

Ah boy complained the ramen shop was too noisy. The staff there would make some noises whenever people come into the shop. He preferred the Ramen shop at Jurong point basement 1.

TCC at Bugis - 1July2016

TCC have a 1 for 1 promotion on main course for members. Since my 2 good friends are TCC members, they suggest to dine at TCC bugis. There are 2 TCC outlets in bugis. We went to the one near to middle road facing bugis plus. 

We ordered 2 sets of their signature seafood aglio aglio. We also ordered the egg plant garlic shrimp and the pizza. We didn't expect the pizza to be inclusive for 1 for 1 promotion so we were billed with pizza as zero amount. 

The pizza was good. I loved the unique taste of the egg plant garlic shrimp. For drink, I ordered raspberry litchi smoothie. It was filled with anti-oxidants raspberry and mixed with lychee. 

On the whole, it was a good meet up with good friends with good food and drinks. 

Twenty 15 restaurant grill bar - 24June2016

My friend introduced us to this restaurant grill bar at Big Box. We went there on a Friday evening. The food was good but not very warm when served. We ordered pork ribs, fries, buffalo wings and pasta. 

There was beer promotion 1 for 1 for 1 pint. So we ordered beer at 18SGD for 2 pints. 

Quite a nice place to hang out and chit-chat with friends. 

Bangkok - 4June2016

It was last day of our Bangkok trip. We had our last breakfast in the hotel for the morning.

We checked out at 11 plus am in the morning and waited for our cab outside the lobby area to take us to the airport. 

At the airport after we checked in, we had our lunch at a Thai restaurant.
