Christmas party (Lakeholmz) - 15Dec2022

Went for early Christmas party at Lakeholmz function room. Being invited by ukulele group mate. Had games, songs and a buffet Christmas lunch.

Took a photo in front of the origami hearts that I made. Happy that they were being used as decorations. 

Sushi-go (Jurong Point) - 10Dec2022

Matcha red bean cheese cake - 4.50SGD

Fatty tuna and radish maki. Chawanmushi. Potato salad. Parma ham and cream cheese salad. Mentai Mayo Salmon sushi. Mentai Mayo Takagi sushi. 

Jurong point kopitiam sing along - 7Dec2022

With every 6SGD spent at jurong point kopitiam, we were given one token to sing one song at a karaoke booth located in kopitiam.

We sang 3 songs in total with 3 given free tokens. Not many songs could be found in the demo machine. 

We finally picked “Last Christmas” as the third song to sing as Christmas is around the corner.

Bangkok Day 5 - 6Dec2022

Hotel breakfast was of good variety. I especially loved their pressed juices and pastries. 





It was early checkout from the hotel. Our return flight was 12.15 pm (BKK time).





We asked the hotel staff to book grab car to take us to the airport. 




I loved the Christmas tree decorated with teddy bears. 








The hotel stay was good except the bed and the pillows were too soft. I had sleepless few nights. 

The first VAT refund counter was a brief check. They requested to view the items but I told them the items were mostly clothing and were packed inside the luggage. They agreed to stamp on the document for us. 




The check in process at SQ counter was smooth. They only checked our passports. I had went earlier (48 hours before) onto SQ website to check in and reserve our seats. 

As it was still early before boarding, we went to get the cash for the VAT refund and did some last minute shopping. I bought my first Jo Marlone perfume. 

The seats were fully occupied. We sat at the last row. 

Within short few hours, we arrived at Changi Terminal and it was home sweet home.
